Rüdesheim

We headed for this quirky beautiful town on the Rhine in Germany. It started with a bone shaking ride on the little town road train, fortunately it was short lived but it did take us to our afternoon wine tasting cellar. Hans was very entertaining with his knowledge, singing and humour. We drank, drank some more and although it was only 3 small glasses when you’re only had a salty pretzel since breakfast, it did leave us with a pleasant feeling of wellness and of course we ended up buying some wine to take home. We then headed up on the cable car to visit the Willhelm statue, the views from the top were amazing.
