Heading home...

...nice and bright as I was heading home from Aberdeen.

Meanwhile in Strathclyde Park the rowers were sheltering from torrential rain and lightening in the wee team gazebo. So much so that the final races of the day were cancelled. All was going well until late afternoon, so the Rooster and his crew didn’t get to race in their J14 coxed four final.

Let’s hope the weather is a bit better tomorrow for day two of the Scottish Rowing Championships and his first competitive pairing with Robbie in the doubles.

Grateful to be heading home.
