Swans in the snow...

...being the antithesis of the proverbial black cat in a dark cellar.

It finally snowed in Manchester by the time I woke up this morning, and by the time I got to work, the sun was shining. By the time I had a chance to go outside, the sun had stopped shining, and instead the snow was wet, and melting the already-fallen stuff.

So not having anything nice to photograph I merely concentrated on making sure the snow in the photo was not blue or 18% grey.

It came out white(ish) in the camera, and It was certainly made to be white in processing. Unfortunately, I did it so well that the 5 Swans in the picture got a bit lost. The ultimate high-key picture.

Oh well, better luck tomorrow.
