In the pink

Spent a few hours at Green Shoots this afternoon sowing veggie seeds and planting strawberries. I came back the other way for a change - along the narrow, single track road that leads to Connel. 

I stopped to chat to a trio of ponies in a field, one of which was sporting these charming pink horseshoes! (Not horse shoes, of course, but hoof covers!) Think it was a boy too!

Maybe horses are colour blind or he just loves pink!
