Weathered
Yesterday's blip was submitted from the ferry, just before we docked at Orcas Island -- I knew I'd be too busy to blip once we got there.
The main task -- hauling out the floating dock for the winter -- went very smoothly. Nobody fell in the water, nor did any of the hardware. I've posted photos of the operation on my Flickrstream.
The weather today was beautiful -- hard to believe it's November. After a hearty breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon, we moved the handsome Adirondack chairs from the deck to the basement.
We had time for a few games of table tennis while we waited for the water to drain from the house plumbing system, before catching the mid-day ferry back to Anacortes.
