bitter

had one of the best nites sleep ive had in months in one of the most comfy beds. So far in this big ole creaky house there have been no bumps in the nite heard. The village itself is tiny , just a fork i the road, a village store , a stream running through the village.. and two pubs.. and seens we are in wales and in a village weve found the only gay in the village too.. he works in the pub..
its fair to say , i like this place ..it is so far derived from basingstoke , its the three "R"s rustic, rugged and rainy .
Took the girls down the stream to look for "fossils" ,, (keeps em amused) taught the girls how to skim stone, such a simple pleasure, the stones are ideal here,, worn flat by the stream..throw em right right and they hop and skip across the water and as they lose the energy "dance" across the waters surface, very satisfying !! After repeated warnings to the girls the inevitable happened, Shamara fell in the drink..cant be cross. i know i would have done the same at that age.Sometimes ya just have to learn the hard (or wet ) way.
Went to Abergele beach in the afternoon, warming our bones and sipping cocktails with little umbrellas in them, thats if the imagination stretched that far, the reality was a windy rainy cold walk, with "that" fixed grimace on our faces.. beach-combing was neat , the girls love it hence i do too. so holiday to this point ,, very enjoyable.
