Blue mountains day 1

While my au pair family are on holiday Hugh and I are having a couple of days away as well. We're 2 hrs west of Sydney in the Blue mountains national park and it's so lovely to be away from the city and back to nature. Weirdly it's like a mini holiday for us (even though technically we're already on holiday being in Australia!) We checked into our hostel "no 14" which is like a big, cosy, woodland house (so peaceful!) and had a wander about the charming town of Katoomba. As the sun was going down we went to see the main attraction of the Blue mountains, The three sisters, which are 3 rock formations based on the aboriginal tale of 3 sisters being turned to stone. The view from Echo point of the 3 sisters and the rest of the national park were stunning! I can't wait to explore more tomorrow and go on some beautiful walks
