The Tiny Tuesday challenge is about souvenirs today. I have loads, but not many of them are tiny.
I remembered a box of small coins which I found when I was clearing my mother's house. I must have collected them on my first trips to Europe - travelling by student train, or hitching, and having of course to get local currency every time we crossed a border. It was a different world. But it was half a century ago. How did that happen?
This 5 centimes piece must have been freshly minted when it turned up in my change (see extra) and I love the design on both sides.
