A Lochan chain...

stretches up this glen, hidden amongst the mountains and forgotten by most. It was a lovely day for walking here. The Sandpiper can just be seen bottom right of this first Loch. Further on at another the male Red-throated diver was floating around, with a feather stuck on his beak, for the half hour I was watching. His mate would have a nest in the reeds.
