Hope Light
I wasn’t feeling too great going into Big D today. The thought of starting another week of being hooked up to a machine, made me feel a bit teary.
The doc came around before I went on, and we had a good chat. I asked him to chase Cardiff for this transplant appointment, as I was still waiting. Sadly, I don’t think he has the power.
So, when I was being put on, I noticed the nurse was taking a lot of extra bloods. Because I’m a nosey bugger and inquisitive, I asked why was blood being taken today. She said that this was for cross matching for transplant, I said I was still waiting the appointment, but she said well you must be close to being put on the list because they don’t usually do this until things are really close.
So, I’ve left dialysis with a bit of a spring in my step, I’ve seen some potential light at the end of the tunnel.
