Taking on water
I had to wait in this morning for my new bathroom to be delivered by B&Q for installation by Homefit next week. It arrived all packed on two large shrink wrapped pallets - one about 6 foot tall. Thankfully I have a double garage so had room to easily store it. There was no warning it would arrive like this and the guy delivering it said they had all sorts of problems getting these grouped items into people's homes. No doubt people had made room for the individual items. After waiting since November for the installation, I had an email last week to say that B&Q's Homefit service is closing down at the end of the year - fortunately the warranties are transferring to B&Q.
This afternoon I popped down to the station to drop off some jigsaws for their second hand bookshop. The Poppy Line is run by volunteers so all contributions are welcome. This photo is of the steam train taking on water before it's final run of the day.
