Both my sons are good at working with wood - but their Dad is not bad either.

Will bought some second-hand garden furniture - made from cast iron ends and back with slats of wood to form the seat.  They were quite old and the wooden bits were very worn and rotten in places.  He used some offcuts of wood that Tim had given him - which incredibly were exactly the right width - to replace the original pieces.  And here's what they look like now.

No wonder he's got a smile on his face ……………………….
