A Year and a Day

William was one year old yesterday. His Mum and Dad took him off to Wacky Warehouse in Leicester for a birthday treat. The official birthday party is coming on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Len and I called in this afternoon to give him our present, Frog in a Box. Open the lid and the frog jumps out. He wasn't quite sure about the box but he loves the frog.

Finally found some good advice on recovery following a knee replacement. Top tip, take pain relief at night. So I shall be putting the paracetamol by my bed for wakefulness at 2 am.

Lovely outing to Dishley Pool this evening in wonderful light. Camera club outing. The men forged ahead but no matter, I took my own photos. Myriads of tiny frogs crossing the path.
