Home again, Cross the Sea

We had the best of days today!

I chose Maid of The Forth boat ride under the bridges and here they all are; the Queens Crossing, the forth Road and the Forth Railway.

When we set off it was very cloudy and I thought oooh maybe wrong day; but as you can see the cloud cleared and the sun came
Out and it was beautiful!

We sailed down the Forth to Incholm island and it was beautiful! Seals laying on the buoys, cormorants on the rocks - Edinburgh skyline on one shore and The Kingdom of fife on the other.

I had to sit hanging over the side the whole time - when I stood I was swaying around like a crazy person - I don’t sail well (remember the Irish ferry saga? )

I actually felt a bit emotional - the first and last time I made that journey was on a family day with the Navy; the day before Himself left me for seven months - spontaneous tears were the order of the day.

But I managed to retain a level of dignity and sat and smiled up at himself and remembered the joy after all those months!

Totally enjoyed the ride and if you get the chance I would totally recommend it
