Chipping Sparrow

Late this afternoon we returned to Mount Holyoke, having heard at our bird club last night that the road was open again. Lo and behold, it was open, and in fact the road had been entirely retarred, from the approach below the gate to a bit beyond the half-way house (just above where I'll mark the map for this image). We regularly see chipping sparrows in that area, as  here  two years ago. Otherwise an uneventful day.
