So there I am sat watching TV, Flights from Hell Caught on Camera if you must know, and they're talking about engine failures in flight.

J used to be my boss when I first moved to Lincoln over 30 years ago. He moved to America to take over the New York office. Eventually he left the company and moved to California, met A, got married, became an American citizen.

I was best man at their wedding in Monterrey, and I haven't seen them for 18 years.
