Pyramid orchid
This is testimony to how wild parts of my garden have become - an orchid suddenly grows and shows itself to the world on the edge of the lawn at the front of our home. There are orchids up the lane on the side of the road (when the area is not mown for driver visibility) but never in our garden. We do have cowslips and buttercups ....and the grass is the original meadow grass that has been cut over the decades to form a lawn.
This evening we had supper with G and L at their lovely home the other side of Yeovil. Their garden is so beautiful with tall lofty trees and beautiful plants. We ate outside and it was warm and balmy - just magical.
