Special Guests

This year the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway will celebrate 50 years of operation as a working branch line heritage railway. Between 24th June and 1st July there will be a week long Gala showcasing all that's been done over the last 50 years, from humble beginnings with smaller engines, to bigger locos and even diesels.
Whilst Diesels don't have the charisma of their steam powered brethren they are no less impressive.  Here are three that are on loan for the Gala - 'Royal Highland Fusilier' and 'Ark Royal' with the loco at the far end Class 20  '20205'. With these three you are looking at over 7,000 hp - that is a lot of horses:-)
