I'm a fan...

I'm a fan of Castor Oil Plants.  I love their massive shiny leaves.  They are the only plant I have in the garden that looks tropical.  I considered adding Hostas to the list but they always seem to look scruffy and the slugs nibble them into a green lace leaf very early on in their life.  We've tried slug pellets and potions but I think we must have a colony of Super Slugs. One day I hope to develop a corner that looks like a rain forest.  Not the type of rain we're having this afternoon.
