One very small part .....

...... of the Great Scottish Tapestry. The entire collection of embroidered panels, depicting Scotland's history, has been on display in the New Lanark World Heritage Site.

I've seen the tapestries many times in different venues ... you can never see the amazing embroidery stitches too many times. There are some very skilful stitchers out there.

Being a Glaswegian I chose the part of the Growth of Glasgow panel showing Glasgow's Coat of Arms.

.... and the good news is ..... it's raining .... at last!
