Beckford Bridge

I joined my walking group today and four of us started the walk in deepest Devon at Beckford bridge, Membury. The bridge is a 17/18th packhorse bridge over the river Yarty.
In other news, my husband woke up to find a live tick feeding on his waistline when he went for a shower. I hope it doesn’t develop into anything nasty. I assume he picked it up on our walk yesterday and it climbed up his trouser leg and spent the night in bed with us, yuk.
