In which: Instant karma

Yesterday I sold some tickets for a gig that I can’t go to for face value as I hate touts and love live music. I could have put them on a resale site at a profit but that’s anathema.

24 hours later a friend posted on Facebook that she had a free press night ticket for Romeo & Juliet at the temporary Shakespeare Rose theatre. I contacted her and said if she couldn’t find someone else I would love to go.

I got the free ticket. I believe in karma.
