MOT

I was just about to set off for my run when my phone reminded me that the car was booked for its MOT today. I decided that I would drop off the car and run home via the park. I still managed 5K. Penny had her maths lessons first thing but was home at 11am.
Bibi spent the day revising. She has started asking everyone to guess how many hours we think she has been revising. Today’s answer was ten and a half hours!
When I got back from my run, rat-cat (a neighbour’s cat that resembles a rat) was in the kitchen finishing off the cat food. She ran out very fast when she saw me.
The car passed its MOT and the garage called me at 3pm to say I could pick it up. Jack gave me a lift to the garage.
Olwen (our cat) was nowhere to be seen all day which is very unlike her. By 7pm, I got a bit worried and went knocking on next door to see if she was in there. I thought maybe she could be stuck somewhere inside because the builders are still there. On my way out, I could hear a faint meeow  but couldn't see anything. As I entered our house, I saw Olwen sitting on the stairs. Her paws were very dirty and she looked like she’d been sitting on soot all day. We’ve no idea where she’d been all day but we were glad that she came home.
