LIverpool

The architecture of Liverpool is stunning.  The mix of styles is impressive. And the Art Deco buildings are fantastic. I couldn't finish blips from our short trip without the Liver Birds and one of the Fab Four (extras).
We did the usual tourist things - a boat trip on the Mersey and an open top bus tour - before setting off home on the train.  It takes 3 trains to get back to Edinburgh, which seems ridiculous for a relatively short distance.
