We're not in Kansas anymore!!!!

I went to the Hollywood Costume Exhibition at the V&A with my friend Rita today!
Photographs not allowed but couldn't resist a few sneaky iPhone shots ;-) Shame this is such a bad pic but it had to be this one tpo sum up the day.
If you want to go book online asap, don't just turn up because you won't get in.
Highlights included Darth Vader, Monroe's 'wind up the skirt' pleated dress, Fight Club, Judy Dench's Elizabeth 1st outfit, Audrey Hepburn's Breakfast at Tiffany's black dress and gloves!
It was amazing! And apart from the slippers and Marilyn's dress nothing was behind glass.
We had lunch in the cafe which is impossibly grand and then looked at the costume section, incredible dresses!
After Rita left I perused their permanent early photographs exhibition and then the theatre section, there's a replica of Kylie's showgirl dressing room, costumes worn by Adam Ant, Elton John, Jagger and Chris Martin.
I only went to the v&a for the first time recently and only for 10 minutes with Gulliver on our way to the NHM. I love it and will be going more!
Now back home to take the boys to Karate....
