No leaks? Phew!

Four gigantic pipes, constructed in 1862, are still water?tight. They carry the Northern Outfall Sewer over the Lee Navigation on its journey to Beckton. SIr Joseph Bazalgette engineered this solution to London's 'Great Stink'. I liked the symmetry of this view.
