Post Trick-or-Treating Candy Buzz

Happy Halloween!!

Kaylee went as an 80's Pop Singer (namely, Cyndi Lauper), and Colby was a Jedi. They suited up as soon as I arrived home, and we were off to Skowhegan. Dave, Kristen and Chloe (dressed as a girly monster), joined us to knock on some doors.

Then we all met back up at Mom & Dads to evaluate (and eat!) our candy haul. It was a fun evening, just wish that it hadn't of fallen in the middle of the week... it makes it hard for parents/teachers to get back to a schedule.

On Tuesday, a major hurricane came through Maine, not much damage reported - there were a few areas left without power - we were the lucky ones.... Hurricane Sandy was a HUGE factor in southern New England and the East coast. New York and New Jersey were hit the hardest with severe flooding, wind, and fire damage. The devastation is extreme and the weather doesn't look good for the upcoming week. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those lost and for those struggling to find shelter/food/water.
