Tom Dibb

At sixty something I’ve seen a few bands/singers and heard music of every kind but this evening I heard Tom Dibb perform two sets accompanying himself with his acoustic guitar and was hooked.

He performs mostly his own material which weaves a tale of his life and travels and during his performance, sitting on the step of his camper, he interacts with the audience building a rapport and clearly enjoying himself.

He was that good I bought his CD which I asked him to sign, mistake, it made all the previous buyers return to get theirs signed delaying his second set.
Brilliant.

Also clearly enjoying himself at his cooking display was one of the campingchef.com chefs, who after giving me and three others almost half a pint of free strong gin & tonic each, proceeded to drink anything and everything that came near him over the next ninety minutes.
I saw him later in the day - completely wasted.

Whilst Clare, Josh and I thoroughly enjoyed the day, not so Mark who worked a long day in scorching temperatures with not much refreshment and little by the way of breaks but he fid look remarkably well after last night.

A relaxing day at the JK’s Open Day.
