Blue mountains day 3
A beautiful, sunny day (but VERY cold) and our last day in the Blue mountains already!
Since we had seen a lot in Katoomba the past couple of days we took the train 2 stops to Wentworth falls and went on the Charles darwin walk. It was an easy going, relaxing walk through the bush and saw rivers, caves with fern and small waterfalls but after about an hour and a half we saw Wentworth falls and the depth just plunged hundreds of metres below us with more incredible views. Hugh and I started to walk along the National pass where the trail went right along the edge of the cliffs. It was fine to begin with but when the wind hit it made us feel a little bit uneasy (esp Hugh) so we turned back. We also spotted some bright red "King parrots" in the trees which was very cool. After lots of walking and an amazing time in the Blue mountains we caught the train from Wentworth falls back home to Sydney
