Thank you Telia

Before we bought the house the previous owners contracted with the telecommunications company Telia to install a fibre optic broadband system. When we moved in the cable had been laid as far as the front door only and we subsequently got them to finish it off by wiring up the house.

Imagine our surprise when out of the blue Telia arrived to let us know that they were going to make good any damage they may have done to the front drive during their digging last year. In mid afternoon they duly arrived, leveled the ground, layered it with gravel and soil and even sowed some grass seed.

Full marks for Telia and for Finland. We hadn't even ordered their system in the first instance. Now that's a service I would only have dreamed about back in Ireland. As you van see they even allowed herself to be the foreman (or should that be forewoman?) for the afternoon.
