Hell's Gate's

Ticked off an Avon classic tonight, Hell's Gate's HVS 5a. What a brilliant route! I led pitches one and three. At the end of pitch one is a small cave that provides a handy spot for a belay, and comes complete with a rather soggy visitors book! Sadly we didn't have a pen. I managed a few snaps from here, although hard to do it justice: the route goes right under the suspension bridge so it makes for an atmospheric position to say the least!
