Well well well
The second well on the farm has been found. Husband showed it to me today. This is Breach posing on the top of it. Beautiful old Rowan tree right beside it. The dogs could sense the water and were sticking there heads in the gap on top hoping to reach it for a drink. We are all missing the burns and the loch.
This morning we were up early to help load the Hebrideans that husband clipped the other day. Old fashioned stock trailer so the ramp to the top deck was very steep. I can see why they changed the rules on that! Especially after basically helping every sheep up it. Glad to have them loaded.
Back home I made some homemade granola, a loaf of bread and some brownies as well as some cleaning. Main reason for business in the kitchen was the post basher was right next to the house putting in strainers for the garden gates and it was like t rex was going to get us vibrations and all and the dogs weren't keen on it. Especially old Cuillin. Plus side garden fence now finished. Draw back there's a huge gap under the gate so it could swing. Dogs wouldn't even have to slow down to duck under it!! So some modifications rewuired by us. We also had the plumber in putting in our upstairs toilet and door on the shower and fitting the pump for the shower. By the end of the day id had enough of all the noise and intrutions and enjoyed sitting eiththe dogs and husband at the well.
Oh and it was really windy and the empty plastic coal bunker went flying past the kitchen window thankfully pick up wasn't parked where it usually is as it would have hit it!!
