I did as instructed!!

For three and a half hours .......

We traveled to Grantham today for a hospital appointment. B was due an investigation. The appointment was brought forward a day to fill a cancellation.

We weren’t told how long it would take, so I took my seat in the exit waiting room and after 90 minutes a nurse came to say that B was still waiting for them to start. Another two hours later it was finished he had been give the routine cup of tea and biscuit and was ready to go. Nothing unexpected discovered, I’m pleased to say 0)

In the meantime I had knitted 3 poppies and been given a sneaky cup of tea by one of the nurses (she wasn’t supposed to do so). I think that she felt sorry for me when she shared the news of the delay.

On the way home I managed to get some alpine grit for my pots. The garden centres locally are all sold out.

We booked a holiday for next year when we got home.

It was very windy today, the tall plants got a bit of a battering.
