Blood drop emlets (mimulus luteus), Harris
Today we moved onto our next holiday venue: Tetherstone, Northton, Isle of Harris. Here our hosts are our great friends Bella and David. We travelled here by bus, first from Timsgarry to Stornoway, then Stornoway to Tarbert, and then Tarbert to Northton. The last leg of the journey was quite amusing because this was also the school bus.
It's wonderful to be here with Bella and David. We have reacquainted ourselves with the village with a walk to the three local beaches, enjoyed moussaka for supper with our hosts, and initiated the great Northton World Catan Championship. You may like to guess the winner of the opening game....
I blip the bacon and egg (or is it monkey?) plant some blood drop emlets (mimulus luteus) on Bella and David's croft with Scarista and Taransay in the distance. (Identified after reading walkingMarj's comment and consulting a plant identification web site.)
Exercise today: walking (11,579 steps)
