Taking steps
There are myriads of little alleyways and byways in Gaillac, many of which have stone steps, worn away with centuries of use.
When I take those steps I enter into history and leave my small inperceptible footprints.
My tread on those steps will only be measured over time, my contribution to their wear assessed by others.
So it is with our every day lives and our small acts of generosity and kindness. Their outworking will only be measured by others.
