My sweet husband requested homemade peach pie, and VOILA!  Here it is.....I once baked a lot more than now, when the daughters were still home and there were more than two to eat a pie, a batch of cookies or a nice coffee cake.  Sometimes you just have to say, "what the hell, bake the pie even if we have to throw some of it out later....."  
Today was one of those "what the hell" days that was brightened by the simple process of making a fresh peach pie.  :)
