This in no way does any justice to the life and vigour I experience when watching Dave Cohen and Ronnie Fulton do a Raku firing.
Lively colour, flames, sparks, smoke are some of the visuals; whilst the smells of smokey burning accompany the fiery experience of heat.
Humour, anticipation and methodical synchronisation is the ambience.

Just sorry I can't photograph flames.
