School concert

Max and I went to Gullivers school summer concert tonight, it was also good!
It started off with the school orchestra playing a couple of classical pieces, there were two solar pianists one classical and one blues, one of these pictures is singing group with Gulli‘s girlfriend Erin in the middle Who sang an arrangement of toxic, the school choir sang a few numbers which were great. Gulliver is in the school soul band at performed some soul and disco numbers including staying alive by the Bee Gees, he’s also in the Little shop of horrors band which will be the school production in November so they played Skid Row and one other. An emotional end to the evening with the year 13 singing group, a Group of friends have been together for seven years as a group, they really were fantastic, brilliant blend of voices and lovely choice of material, facing the Eagles and Crosby, Stills & Nash et cetera and had prepared two of Mr Cragg’s favourite songs as a thank you, One of the girls in the group Abigail is only a day older than Zebedee, I met her mother Daryl in the next size class for pregnant women when we were both carrying.
All the parents of this group were sitting in the front, it’s the end of an era, children becoming adults…
