Piggy Park Food Growing Project.

The collage today shows the good progress being made at the converted park, The Piggy Park, that with Council and local enterprising local people became a successful food growing project.
They have been doing this for two growing seasons now.
There are fruit trees, flowers and a wide range of vegetables.
Children from the local Primary schools have provided colourful insect and butterfly paintings to brighten the area up.
There is a willow weaving tunnel in the forest area where classes have lessons about trees and wildflowers and growing from seeds.
The weather is cloudy and low light.
The wind has gone but there are quite a lot of branches and pine cones a
nd leaves in gardens where the wind was swirling about.
