Well Travelled Siberian

This Siberian iris was mine when I lived in Iowa. I had a large garden there. But when I was off and away my friends dug it up and moved it with them to North Carolina.
After I settled where I am now in New York state the friends gave me a few clumps of "our' Siberian iris to plant in this garden. And here it is blooming again. I think they may be nearly as 'immortal' as peonies.
