Stowe Park

We visited Stowe Park for a walk this morning. This footbridge over an inlet to the lake was built a few years ago, but was closed today for redecoration. It was a lovely morning - sunny, but just breezy enough to be not at all too hot. Stowe is so extensive that even when the car park is quite busy it seems relatively empty of people when you're walking. The extras show the Palladian bridge and some of the wildlife - Canada geese (mostly juveniles), a damsel fly and I think a Common spotted orchid.
