Elder

Walking home from coffee at the Tittle Tattle Tea shop this morning I was on the look out for wild flowers.

Thought this would meet Flower Friday and Wild Flower Week. The problem is all the verges and fields seem to have just been mown. I did see a Briar Rose but it was this Elderflower that caught my eye, hanging over the park wall.
I did check in my 'Wild flowers of Britain and Europe' book and the Elder does feature.

In the park they were busy with preparations for tomorrow's Village Children's Gala. I've been asked to do the photography again. The forecast isn't good!
