Poppy Power

I am very concerned about the lack of butterflies in the vicinity.  This morning I saw my first Skipper, but only one, and a solitary, very tatty Common Blue.  There should be so much more around.

There are no swallows, swifts or martins roaming the sky either.  Troubling.

This is the only surviving poppy in the garden too.
