Green Day Strop

I have wobbled about which photo to post today. But I like that this one is real, it’s a genuine moment in our day. And in some ways it’s quite indicative of parts of life with my 8year old.

Green for Grenfell day at school today. We have very little green and they told us only at lunchtime yesterday but we made a good enough effort of it. She had a massive grump on the way out the door that I wasn’t willing to add my favourite green cashmere cardigan to her outfit. Massive grump.

Yet the second we got to school, something switched and she slipped away to see what everyone else was wearing.....

In other news, one of her favourite music brands today did a feature on Katie on their Instagram account & story! Very exciting!
