Cut back

This is really to record what happened last week when the eucalyptus tree outside the bedroom windows had a massive trim. It resulted in lots more light coming in, but also lots more heat, hence the urgency to have the solar film installed. G reckons it's made a difference. We shall see when I get the energy bill next month.

The nice thing about the trim is that we can now see the flame (tree) and the Frame (new landmark), and when parked in its normal place, G can see her car from her desk. She also says all the birds have been upgraded to a Penthouse. :)

It's been a quiet day at home. Eid Al Fitr was declared last night, so most shops around us have had the day off, making it extra quiet. We managed to watch a couple of World Cup games online.
