South Harris storm and rainbow

After a whole day inside yesterday due to Storm Hector, today we ventured out for (1) coffee at Talla na Mara; (2) a curtailed walk; (3) a proper walk; and (4) dinner at the Temple Café. The curtailed walk came to an end soon after we set off when (a) I tripped, fell and hurt myself on the tarmac not far from the house and (b) we then all got soaked in a sudden cloud burst.

Of course, in between all this we have indulged in our other usual Northton activities, including three more games of Catan. Since this is our last full day here, the contest that began on Tuesday has now been concluded. I am the champion with four wins to two a piece for Mr hazelh and Bella.

I rushed out in the middle of our evening meal to capture this rainbow from the car park of the Temple Café. The mountain on the right is Moadal. If you check my blip from the day that we climbed Moadal on 21st July 2014, you can see the Temple Café car park in the bottom left of the picture.
