What a Day Out!

The reason me & Mrs MD were in Salford Quays yesterday was because we had booked a Manchester Ship Canal Cruise today (Salford Quays to Liverpool Ferry Terminal) to celebrate Mr MD's birthday of last week and we stayed overnight to be ready for our Cruise.
What a day!  A day full of interest (and photo opportunities).  Everything is so much bigger than your 'normal' canal.  My Blip is from our Cruise Ship  (ex-Mersey Ferry - 'Snowdrop') exiting Barton Dock. 
In extras I have Bipped her - painted in the Dazzle Ship colours.  My other extra is the BIG 'Annemeikle' - a ship designed for 'Heavy Lifting' being towed out of Eastham locks.
A most excellent day and a brilliant birthday present.
