New lens

Work is busy so not getting much time for photography. Last weekend I finally decided that one of the benefits of working (apart from topping up the travel fund which was sorely depleted by my whimsical winter wanderings earlier this year) is being able to buy camera equipment, so I splashed out and bought a new lens. Took it for its first run yesterday - between student assessment sessions so not much time. Managed to capture this delightful bird. Quite pleased with it :)
