South Uist

Better weather today, apart from some short showers. These hills are where golden eagles can be seen - I met a birder today who had just seen one, but I had no such luck myself. I did see wheatears, and have put one into Extras.  Found some corncrakes this evening, but only heard them. They are so good at hiding in the undergrowth!
