Two Great Tits in a Bush

Another miserable rainy day.

The vet came and gave the dogs their annual rabies jab and left a few pills for them which we promptly forgot to give them. Maybe tomorrow? We had quite a long chat with him. The local farming prognosis is bleaker than the weather, which doesn't inspire me with my efforts, but nobody ever speaks positively about farming anywhere. Ho hum...

On a more cheering note I was able to buy decent tonic water, which is a rare event. We have the essentials, notably gin, tonic, angostura bitters (reading the label they contain gentian root), ice and even lemon.

D. heard loud bangs earlier on and wondered what they were. The KGB are investigating the site of a largish explosion 50m on their side of the border. They report that somebody, probably hurt may have crossed the border illegally.
